My dog Moses is a male Chinook/Golden Retriever mix, and took Cosequin many years ago when he started having hip problems. Earlier this summer, he started acting very tired and was dragging his back legs. After a few days of this, I noticed he was drinking the run off water of the window air conditioner. YIKES I thought, he has legionars decease. After restricting his access to the toxic water he still wasn't 100%. He wasn't even 50%. I quickly went online and ordered Cosequin chewable. They arrived quickly and with a combination of giving him a lot of clean water to flush his system and then a regimen of Cosequin within 5 days he was 100% again. I have continued the Cosequin as a daily maintenance to his normal diet. And now less than 3 weeks later, he is not only back to being his normal self, he is more active and shows more vigor than he has since he was a puppy. Moses turned 10 in August. Cosequin will remain part of his diet for the rest of his life. And the chewables he eats like a milk bone. I used to have to lace pills with cream cheese, now I just put them on the floor, and Moses comes over and sneaks a "snack" and I couldn't be more satisfied.
